Your trip starts off in the South Rim of the Grand Canyon trekking through an awe-inspiring landscape. Next, discover Biosphere 2, a scientific mini-world, where researchers study an evolving world in real-time. On to the desert, where you’ll learn how full of life this unique ecosystem is with a hands-on course at the Center for Sonoran Desert Studies. Time for an adrenaline rush, you’ll spelunk the limestone cave system of Kartchner Caverns. Finally, explore the Montezuma Castle, an amazing pre-Columbian site of cave dwellings, pueblo ruins and 1,000 years old artifacts. In between, you’ll learn about the California condor, visit the Wild West’s most notorious town of Tombstone, and try your hand at cowboy life at a working ranch. From ecology to geology to Wild West adventure, this is a trip with plenty of yee-haaaaaa!
