At a Glance
Welcome to New Zealand and Fiji—two spectacular island nations with breathtaking landscapes, ancient cultures, and the friendliest of people. Your journey starts off with a traditional Maori welcome and sweeps you off to the wild lands of New Zealand’s South Island. There, trek the Franz Josef Glacier. Next, it’s off to the fjords where you’ll sea kayak and jet boat across the famous Shotover River. Next up, a working sheep ranch and a visit to the Sir Edmund Hillary Center at the base of Mt. Cook. Final stop, Fiji. Working alongside marine biologists, you’ll help replant a section of coral reef off the South Sea Island. In 16 days, you’ll build a snow cave, learn alpine survival skills, snorkel Fijis warm waters, hike a rainforest, harvest coconuts, and become an honorary member of the Fijian Saunaka village. With so much adventure packed into one visit, you couldn’t dream up a better trip to Fiji and the land of Kiwi.
