As Educators, the summer provides you an opportunity to leave the classroom and pursue other interests.

We recognize you have many choices on how to spend these precious summer weeks. In the summer of 2010, Discovery Education is launching Discovery Student Adventures, our first ever international, student trips. Educators are invited to serve as Travel Leaders, chaperoning and guiding a group of students throughout one of the incredible destinations. Many of you have utilized Discovery Education services in your classrooms and watched our many shows on TV. Imagine leading a group of students on a trip the Discovery way. A trip that will engage, inspire, motivate and excite you as much as the students you lead. You won’t just be a bystander watching the kids cross-country ski through the stunning snow fields of Queenstown, New Zealand. You will be an active participant, feeling as empowered and proud of your participation as each and every student will feel. As adults and especially educators, we understand the world is full of many cultures. However, having this understanding and experiencing it first-hand as you interact with the locals at an Australian Outback Bush camp are two different things. You likely will touch the lives of others, but you most definitely will be touched and changed yourself.
